The ISMAR 2022 organizing committee invites proposals for tutorials to be held in conjunction with the ISMAR conference. The tutorials will be scheduled on October 17th (Monday) and October 21st (Friday). To be aligned with the ISMAR conference which will be conducted in hybrid mode, the tutorials can be organized in either online or in Singapore physically.
The purpose of the tutorials is to expand the knowledge in the fields of augmented, mixed, and/or virtual reality and to foster the next generation of researchers, developers, and artists. Proposals will be evaluated on their relevance to the conference topics, their suitability for presentation in a tutorial format, and the qualifications of the instructors. We will strive for a balance of topics in the tutorial program and also consider the potential for interest and attendance.
The scope of the proposals should be consistent with the main conference topics. Please visit the conference website for more details: http://ismar2022.org.
Tutorial proposals must be submitted before May 6th, 2022 (23:59 AoE, Friday).
The deadline for tutorial proposal submissions is May 6th, 2022 (23:59 AoE, Friday), and notifications will be sent out on May 16th, 2022 (Monday). All camera-ready material for the proceedings should be collected by August 31st, 2022 (Wednesday).
Experts, pioneers, and experienced developers and artists are needed to propose and present tutorials that may target a specific application area, a specific research area, or a topic of general interest for augmented, mixed, and virtual reality.
Topics can range from introductory for AR/MR/VR novices to highly technical for researchers. Tutorials can be half-day or full-day, depending on the scope of topics covered and the presenters available.
Tutorial submissions can be directed to workshops_tutorials_chairs@ismar2022.org (please use the subject “ISMAR 2022 Tutorial Proposal“ and cc any co-organizers on the email). Please provide a PDF document containing:
