ISMAR 2022 will be in hybrid mode

Now the global COVID-19 situation becomes more stabilized and cross-border travel restrictions are much lifted. We understand that after two years of virtual conferences, the community members of ISMAR are all looking forward to having more face-to-face interactions. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to have ISMAR 2022 held in hybrid mode and would strongly encourage all to attend the conference in person. For those who really could not attend in person, we’ll provide the online platform.

Look forward to seeing all of you in Singapore soon.

Conference Fees and Registration

• 1-Day Pass (Physical Participation) does not include the banquet dinner and the social events (i.e. tourism).

Refund policy

Should you need to cancel your registration, you may reassign your registration to another person. All cancellations and substitutions must be notified in writing to registration chairs at registration_chairs@ismar2022.org. If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a full refund less an administration charge of 150 SGD will be made providing notification is received in writing before and including 16 Sep 2022. After this date, refunds will be at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

Registration for Authors (REGISTER HERE)

• 1-Day Pass (Author Registration) does not include the banquet dinner and the social events (i.e. tourism).

All papers/presentations need to be covered with at least one unique Author Registration. If circumstances prevent you from attending in person, you may attend virtually but you must register and pay for an author registration. During your registration, you will need to indicate if you’re going to present online or in person.

To promote interactions among the community, each individual is only allowed to make two registrations maximumly and each registration can only cover one paper/presentation. For example, if you have one conference and two workshop paper presentations, three author registrations are needed and maximumly two registrations can be made under your name.

For Authors of TVCG/CG&A/Conference/Poster Papers:

Each accepted paper must be covered by one 5-Day Pass author registration by 31 Aug 2022.

For Authors of Demo Papers:

Each accepted paper must be covered by one 5-Day Pass author registration by 16 Sep 2022.

For Organizers of Workshop/Tutorials:

At least one 1-day Pass author registration for each Workshop/Tutorial is required to be made by the organizers by 16 Sep 2022 31 Aug 2022.

For Presenters of Workshops/Tutorials:

At least one 1-day Pass author registration for each presentation is required to be made by the presenter by 16 Sep 2022 31 Aug 2022.

For Presenters of Doctoral Consortium:

At least one 1-day Pass author registration for each presentation is required to be made by the presenter by 31 Aug 2022.

For Presenters of Pitch Your Lab:

At least one 1-day Pass author registration for each presentation is required to be made by the presenter by 16 Sep 2022.

Non-Presented Paper (No-Show) Policy

IEEE ISMAR 2022 traditionally enforces a “no show” policy. Any accepted papers included in the final program are expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy to both register and attend (in-person or remotely) to present their paper at the conference. Authors of the accepted papers included in the final program who do not register and present at the conference will be added to a “No Show List”, compiled by the Conference. The “no show” papers will not be published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore or other public access forums, but these papers will be distributed as part of the on-site electronic proceedings and the copyright of these papers will belong to the IEEE.
